The Meat Room are a group of Artisan butchers who are passionate about Italian food and working with local producers of pork, lamb and beef.

Owner of the Meat Room, James Mele, is passionate about meat and loves to travel, meeting farmers, producers and fellow foodies.

If salami or sausage making classes are what you’re after, check out their classes page to see what is coming up, make sure you book in early as the classes do sell out quickly. If you prefer to make salami at home, you can purchase all that you need through their online store-room.

James will be a guest judge at the 2022 Great Murray River Salami Festival and we look forward to his passion and expertise in all things meat!
